Trent's Classroom Made the Front Page!

20 minutes before Obama's big, somewhat controversial 'Education Speech', Trent's principal came into his class and asked if he could change his lesson plan for the day and air the President's speech while a reporter covered his classroom. Trent agreed and did a great job channeling the experience for the kids and getting a good discussion going. He was pretty careful to watch what he said, and just commented that he thought it was important that the school kids "know the nation cares about them". Overall, it was a good article. There's more than a 100 different types of Scorpions and these are the types that they use in movies A) because they are scarier looking and B) they hardly ever sting, they have big pinchers that can kill their prey rather than poison it.
